- 1x Scamorza di Bufala Affumnicata
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Mustard
- 1 red onion
- 5 tbsp apple cider vinegar

- Peel the onions, halve them and cut them into fine strips. Then briefly heat the vinegar with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 4 tablespoons of water and add it to the onions. Then soak the onions in the marinade for at least 3 hours.
- Wash the spinach and mix with half of the ajvar. Then season with salt and pepper.
- Season the burger patties with salt and fry them in a hot pan over medium heat on all sides for about 4-5 minutes. Just before the end, let it melt with the sliced scamorza on top.
- Meanwhile, brush the buns with butter and toast them. Spread the bottom of the bun with the remaining ajvar and some mayonnaise, top with the spinach leaves and round off with the burger patties and pickled onions.
